Heatstroke
Pets, more so than humans, are susceptible to overheating. Dogs and cats, for example, are designed to conserve heat. Their sweat glands, located only on their paws and nose, are inadequate for cooling during hot days. In nice weather, you may be tempted to take your pet with you in the car while you run errands.
